Aadhi parasakthi amman temple is situated in Melmaruvathur. This temple is also called as Om Sakthi amman temple and Melmaruvathoor amman. Melmaruvathur is the adobe of 21 Siddhas whose Jeeva Samathi’s are found here. Here people belonging to all community and religion are permitted to worship the goddess. Lot of charitable activities are done in this temple like feeding and providing clothing to the poor people, and giving financial aid for poor girl’s marriages etc. Through Arulthiru Bangaru Adigalar lot of welfare activities are taking place at this temple.
